Chong
Wing became interested in the craft of pottery-making after attending
a demonstration at a Community Club in the early 1980s. After some
years of making pots, vases, cups and bowls. etc, he gradually moved
towards thrown, deformed, reformed and hand-built pieces. Currently
his pieces are inclined towards ˇ°nature-formsˇ±. At the same time
he is dabbling in materials to achieve different types of surface-finish
and coloration.
